Does Good Pitching Beat Good Hitting?

We'll find out next week, when Trane faces the A's. Trane's bats, who've plated 36 runs over their last 3 games (truly their last 9 batting innings) will put that theory to the test next Monday facing Jim Foulis and the A's, who have only given up 4 runs over their last two games. Something's gotta give Monday night at 7. In this week's games, Trane scored 5 in the first and 10 in the second to avenge Ales' top of the first inning run, to win the early game 15-1. The Athletics won the nightcap 4-2 over winless Jackalopes, behind strong pitching and defense. Current standings are 1 - Trane (6-0), 2 - Ales Blue (3-3), 3 - Athletics (2-3), 4 - Jackalopes (0-5).
